Kimberly Skrobol
Kimberly told her story at En Route Story Night 002 with the theme “Too Much”.
Kimberly’s first love is a forbidden one, and when the secret comes out she believes that all obstacles can be overcome by love and pure willpower. But she soon finds out that not everything in life is bending to her will.

In this story, there are clashes between the expression of sexual orientation and an interpretation of Christian beliefs.
This story is NOT in any way a rejection of the freedom of sexual orientation, nor is it an endorsement of religious practices that suppress it.
The intent of this story is to portray Kim’s personal journey—from believing she can control every aspect of her life to realizing that some forces are beyond her control—and finding peace with that understanding.
Kim is not currently religious and fully supports the LGBTQIA+ community. As a dedicated yoga practitioner and healer, she helps people discover healthier lifestyles that balance personal agency with surrender.
